to Helen and Aubrey!I just started feeling better from a kidney infection I've apparently had since Friday a week ago. The first night I noticed BH was this past Friday night. I had to go to the emergency room the night before for the kidney infection (reminded me why I want a home birth too!!! :LOL ) and they monitored me (or baby rather... with a stupid doppler and I wimped out on saying NO
) for BH though I told them that I'd never noticed having them (I'll be 34 weeks on Tuesday) and that the baby was fine and kicking a lot. They gave me an injection of antibiotics and told me that if my fever came back up I had to come back right away.Friday night I knew I had a fever because I was sweating, but I didn't want to go back to the hospital so I sweated it out and it only lasted a couple of hours. I did have many many BH contractions during those couple of hours though. I could barely move and had to pee constantly. So the BH seemed a little uncomfortable, but not painful at all - especially not when compared to my right kidney.
Last night I had some BH again with a very low fever that went down after an hour or so and today I feel fine though I haven't had any more BH today. Maybe tonight? Friday's were really strong (compared to last night) and scary because of that infection.
That's my only experience with them
