Alpine fleese?

I scored today and got 2 good sized Alpine fleese blankets, both new, for insanely cheap. I want to cut them into covers for diapers. I did a water test when I got home, and neither side made the water ball up. Does anyone have any experience with alpine fleese for diapering? They kind of match so I could double them together, it would actually be kind of cute. Any suggestions?

Well a wahm asked if she could use it for the inner of one of my diapers and not knowing what it was I said yes. I've had it for over a year now and it is extremely pilly and falls apart much faster than other types of fleece. Again, she used it for the inner. I would never buy it myself however if it was really cheap I'm sure it will be fine for about 6 months - especially if you have a sweater shaver.
