OHHHHH! I tried it with cut elastic and I could never get it through the casing and I had to start over. Now I see what you mean, just leave a big piece hanging out, pull out to your line and stitch down. That is so easy and so smart. I will give that a try next.

that's what i was doing too! i finally found this thread and sewing elastic has been MUCH easier today
