RIP sweetheart

The Larger Circle- by; Wendell Berry

We clasp the hands of those that go before us,
And the hands of those who come after us.

We enter the little circle of each other’s arms
And the larger circle of lovers,
Whose hands are joined in a dance.

And the larger circle of all creatures,
Passing in and out of life,
Who move also in a dance.

To a music so subtle and vast that no ear hears it
Except in fragments.

You have been in my thoughts a lot, and in my prayers. I'm sending you extra love today.

thank you mamas your support means so much.

surprisingly his bday was easier than our wedding anniversary (which was last wed) to deal with. instead of mourning him I celebrate his life and that I got the chance to know & love him. I found some old letters & poems he wrote me when we first met, they made me laugh and cry to read them.

April, you are so courageous and strong. I am in awe of the way you are dealing with such a difficult situation. Your dh was blessed to have spent the last years of his life with you.

dalai_mama-well I don't feel very strong, mostly numb for the most part. but thank you I am just trying to keep on keepin' on, for my kids sake iykwim. plus I know my DH just wouldn't want me to stop LIVING my life because he died, though truthfully I have no idea what to do with myself at times. I do feel his energy around me, so it brings me great peace.

you are strong, though, mama, you are.
Thinking of you and your sweet family tonight.
