Anyone else dealing with big beautiful blueish veins poking out of their legs? This is my 3rd baby but my first time with this wonderful effect : Will they go away? Ever? Before they were only on the lower part of my calf and now they have moved up my leg. Lovely stuff. Good thing the end result is worth it!!

This is only my first, and the little spot of spider veins just above one of my knees has somehow turned darker and bigger. It looks like a permanent bruise.

My younger sister has had varicose veins since she was 19 or 20 years old, so I was dreading some hereditary invasion of varicosities in my legs, but so far I actually feel lucky to only have the spider veins. But I still have another month and a half to get them, I guess.... at least it's pants weather now.

I've had one vericose vein in my right calf since I was a teenager, too, but it's never bothered me. My midwife suggested taking Rutin tablets, though, in case I got any more or if my one got worse. I've been taking them off and on, and although the one I've always had is still there, it's not worsened, and I haven't gotten any more.
