I know there's a lot of people on here with allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, addictions, etc.

Just curious, what is on your list of foods you avoid?

My list isn't as long as some but I thought of this today because I totally forgot chamomile was one of my problems and after having a cup of chamomile tea I've got the stomach ache from heck : I keep it around because dd likes it.

Anyway, here's me

Soy
Dairy
Sugar
Chamomile

I have very few things that I keep myself away from. But, I'm allergic to some perservative in bread products, so commercial tortillas, Boboli crusts, pita breads give me a headache. I don't even know what it is. I just avoid those things. I also avoid white flour, and limit sugar, but sometimes those things sneak in anyway.

So I guess my list would look like this:

white flour
commercial bread products
canned/proccessed foods (esp tuna)

I wasn't meaning this to be an allergy thread. It's not just about allergies. I avoid sugar because I can't eat it in moderation. I avoid soy because I can't digest it. I think this belongs in the food forum just like the no sugar thread and the what to put in coffee if you can't have soy and dairy thread.

Soy - my #1 food allergy (this is a pain allergy because everything has soy in it)

Apples - my #2 food allergy (lots of things have apple juice in it)

Any and all seafood, fish, shellfish etc

Wheat - I can eat small amounts but have to be careful

My DD: Apples, apricots, all berries, cherries, cloves, coffee, cuce, pickles, grape, raisens, orange, peach, peppers, tangerine, plum, prune, coloring, preservatives, sugar, cocoa, wheat/gluten, eggs, and yeast.

My DS: all that plus honey and cinnamon. They both can eat 1/2 of very riped banana. We don't do well with diary, and eat very little.

We are on the SCD, trying to heal our gut.

I avoid right now for my nursling, ds.

DS and DD2 is sensitive to wheat, citrus, and dairy.

DH is sensitive to wheat, citrus, and onion so we are pretty much a wheat and citrus free family.
