This week I finally got the itch to make some fitteds for my DD for all of her longies!! MY goal is to make 16 VB side snapping fitteds, so far Ive made 6.. Got side tracked ended up making 1 SS VB AIO and 1 front aplix AIO . Then made 1 VB front aplix pocket .. :LOL I also sewed up 12 doublers of sherpa(3 layer last night) and made a pair of really cute recycled longies.. the longies of course are wayyy to small but Im thinking about hanging onto them until next baby.. I took picks of just about everything but picturetrail wont let me put it into an album its having issues so I will post pics tom...

So what have you been working on??? I love coming here, its such an inspiration when I see everyone elses diapers and longies...

Let's see...like always I'm working on newborn diapers for the baby I'm hoping to have someday. I have about 36 fitteds cut out right now and I'm starting to work on sewing the soakers in. I'm making some for my sister too, for when she's able to adopt a baby. I also have a pile of pocket diapers for Baz on my sewing table that are in various stages of competion. I'm also working on some pocket diapers for my friend's 2 month old son.
Aside from diapers, I also have my bottomless basket of mama cloth I'm working on and working on slings.

I'm working on a half dozen side aplixing pocket diapers. The first ones I made turned out so well. I thought I liked the front closing diapers I made but the side closing ones are just so much better!

I am just thinking though, that a few fitteds to put under the longies over the winter would be nice. So that may be my next project.

And then I have 2 friends who are due soonish (January and April) and one of them has never used a pocket diaper, just prefolds, so I thought I would make them a few small pockets as a baby gift.

Before I start those projects I thought I might make another pair or 2 of recycled longies.

*Recycled sweater longies and soakers for DS and a few friends.
*Fitted diapers out of recycled clothing.
*Holdiay bags for a swap that I'm doing locally. (No more wrapping paper, Yay!)
*Stuffers and doublers for me and a few friends. I'm using a combination of new and used fabrics for these.

I've currently got a pile of fabric waiting to be cut out, but I'm busy trying to get what I already have cut out sewn. I'm almost finished with 2 large VB pockets (made from the AIO pattern) and 1 large VB fitted (also made from the AIO pattern). I have 7 or 8 medium fitteds and 3 or 4 small pockets ready to be sewn also. I'm hoping to have all of those done this week so I can cut out something new! I have fabric to make my son pajamas, plus try my hand at making baby sleepers. If only there was more time in a day!

I'm working on honeyboy pockets in newborn and small. I've done 4 diapers so far. i had to make 2 in my toddlers size to make sure they'd work.... and they did, so I've done 2 newborn.
When I get up to 5 done, I will make a show and tell post! They're looking so sweet... I just hope with all my might that they work with a baby in them!
