This is my show!
DH husband has NO love for "night time soap operas" so he was giving me a really hard time about neglecting my family for an hour to watch rubbish....
One hour once a week....I feel entitled!

So let's see....definitely I would take Dr. Sheppard back. He should have been more forthcoming with the info...but they'll have some excuse for him, plus she wasn't demanding to have questions answered. Things just started to get serious there when his wife showed up.
I loved that Meredith told him she needed to be more to him then what was it again.... A breath of fresh air?
I think it just means we will get to see some more cat and mouse between them which I have been throughly enjoying!

Can't say I much cared for them writing his ex-wife in...and I think I understood it correctly that she is joining the staff and not just there for the one particular case?
But I did definitely appreciate her sticking up for Meredith with that patient and admitting that she was the one that cheated and not Derek. She got a few points there.

Let's see Burke and Christina...the way things played out...no I wouldn't have told Burke. Their relationship is outed now anyway so I bet there will be more going on there. She will decide to keep the baby....and then will lose it. Just too inconvient to write in a pregnancy at this point in her career....I think anyway.

I acutally don't really care for Izzy or Alex so I am not too concerned what happens with them....

George is such a sweety though....I am glad he didn't run back and report all the gossip of the hospital.

Very much looking forward to my Sundays again!

Well, mine watch it with me.

But watching a show for an hour does NOT constitute neglect.

I am LOVING this show, too!! It's so great to have a place to chat about it!

I would definately take him back...he is just too cute and all serious with her.

I think Christina's preg. is probably ectopic, too. They had the beeping in the background on the previews though that sounded like she coded.

Darn it, I missed it!! I totally forgot about it and watched parts of 'missing' instead!

Times like this I miss living in AK where I could see the shows starting earlier, so I could still turn off tv at 10pm and not have missed them. . ..

I loved it last night. Great writing. What was Sandra's Oh line about estrogen while at the linch table? "its the estrogren George, the estrogen."

:

GOd I loved that scene.

The whole show was great. I can't wait until next week.

I only watched maybe one or two partial episodes last year. But last week I watched the premiere, and now I'm HOOKED! I'm gonna be watching this all year long. Maybe somehow I can catch up from last year as well. I really have always liked medical shows. this one I like because its alot about their personal lives as well as a little bit of medicine.

To the poster who asked for a summary of last night's episode, I'm a horrible person to do that. Hopefully someone will be able to help you.

I only started catching this a few weeks ago of last season's replays. Been hooked since. Loved Christina Yang's "Mine's bigger than yours" comment! My husband watch that and Desperate Housewives with me...if he hadn't already been laying down, he would have fallen over from laughing so hard.

Judy doll heads?! And the way that one gal was obsessing over their worth and waste...LOL!

Well, obviously Burke is going to find out about the baby...I just hope she doesn't lose it. I'm loving the pregnancy lines.

The talk that Alex had with the son last night almost made me think he had feelings, like maybe he's human afterall. I sort of started to like him a little.

I'd give a synopsis, but dd is telling me it's time to eat - I'll try to get back later if no one else gives one...

Could someone recap this weeks episode---my tape ran out 1/2 thru----Thanks. ( I agree this season is WAY better than last and it's only been 2 episodes.)

The parts that I can remember right now:

George was working on a patient with (the nurse who gave him Syphilis - can't remember her name) and was very cool towards her. At lunch with the other girls, she walked by and he basically said hi and turned away from her. The other girls told him he should talk to her then Izzy said George has a crush on someone else (not saying it is Meredith) and the girls told him he should tell *nurse* so she can get on with her life. In a later scene he is again working with the nurse and she said something along the lines of "I would like to know so I could get on with my life" referring to the patient. George later tells her that he really likes her but he has feelings for someone else.

Car crash patients come in, dad needs a new liver, mom is an abused wife, son is a perfect match for dad but has to make a decision about being a donor. Alex has a talk with him and says he was in a similar situation, he bulked up and beat the heck out of his dad, dad left. He says he wishes he had taken care of things differently, that he wishes they could have worked things out because he was still his father... son decides to donate but says he and mom will move out.

Shephards wife tries to explain to Meredith about the affair, Meredith says she doesn't want to know and would like their relationship to remain on a professional level. Wife then goes to Shephard and it does sound like she wants him back.

Psycho patient swollows 10 Judy doll heads (looked like Barbies to me) I wish they would have said why :LOL I'm still curious about that one.

There's more, but I can't come up with it right now, maybe someone else can fill you in on the parts that I've missed
