I know I enjoyed it more this week than DHW.

There was a storyline with Christina and the doc (my preggo brain can't retain names right now :LOL) he stopped her and said "Are you OK?" and she smiled and said "ya, I'm ok" and walked away. I still wish she would tell him, but looks like he'll probably find out next week.....

I can't believe I didn't find this thread until now. I love this show and would totally take Dr. McDreamy back, but it is definitely better for the story line for them to have some built up sexual tension before they get back together.

Christina is by far my favorite character!

I don't know that I have an actual favorite character yet - I love Christina, George makes me laugh because he's such a dork sometimes. I just wish it came on before 10, I have a hard time staying up that late sometimes. Can't tape it either because I'd never get a chance to watch it during the day

I agree - Meredith is already getting somewhat predictable in her reactions, Christina is more "real"

It's funny, when I watched before, Christina was my least fave character, now I think she's the most interesting... Can't wait until Sunday to get my fix!

I didn't think of that - but I watch Las Vegas on Monday nights at 9 - I could watch it Tuesday night, nothing is on Tuesdays

did you see the way dr., burke was smiling??? He;s so happy that she was being distant b/c she was worried about the pregnancy. oh he so loves her. yeah yeah yeah, and when they showed the preview for next week and her mom was saying how she never brings home an attractive guy like him. gosh it's like i'm reliving the beginning of a relationship i am so giddy about christina and dr. burke.

and meredith's mom!! that was so funny (in a way) the way dr.burke looks like the chief of surgery and george looks like thatcher. I wonder what will come of that revolation.

this show is way better then desperate housewif's. that one is sort of stupid, but my dh loves D.H. i think GA is way better. (he watches grey's with me)

-For Alec and Izzy to be remotely interesting he needs to have some sort of horrible childhood trauma, because I am bored by them. Pretty + Pretty ≠ Interesting!

-I'm warming up to Dr. Bailey. Last week, her doll collection and this week how she stood by Christina's side, during the surgery and after. They call her nazi, but she is really their big momma and a softie on the inside.

-Poor Dr. Burke had to find out about the pregnancy via the patient status board. He wanted to be with her, but everything and everyone was in the way. Awww... Can't wait to see what happens next week with the mother.

-George is such a good guy.

-McDreamy, Dr. McWifey, and Meredith. I can't deal with triangles.... but damn, McWifey was way too overstyled for a hospital.

I love this show like I loved ER, West Wing and thirtysomething...

I thought last night's episode (When Meridith's mom was admitted) was the best yet. Oh, and if I ever have a boy there is a good chance his name will be Thatcher. Or George. Or McDreamy.

Well, I really loved them this week. I really dig the name Izzy and I think they're both very yummy. OK, actually my favorite is when Meredith totally lays into dreamy and Alex goes "duuuude, that was HARSH."

I like Dr. Bailey, too! I loved the line where she was keeping Meredith out of the OR while Christina was being operated on. Something like "I may be short, but I can take you down." And I'm SURE that she could!

I really liked it when Dr. Bailey gave them all assignments and then checked on Meredith, who was hiding. She (Dr. Bailey) just seemed to handle the situation so well.

Hm. Hating Dr. McDreamy is too exhausting for Meredith? Sounds like she's wanting him back. Or at least wanting to move beyond the whole "you didn't TELL me you were married, you SOB" bit.

Did anyone notice that Dr. McWifey still wears her (nice, pretty, big enough to ice scate on) wedding ring? I can see how it's hard for Meredith to really dislike Dr. McWifey - she's kind, honest (confessed to cheating for Meredith's benefit), smart. In fact one of the few things wrong with her is that she's married to Meredith's (former) boyfriend.

I was hoping for a diagnosis of cancer for Meredith's mom. One of my grandparents, and a dear friend's dad, both died of Alzheimer's. I can totally understand wanting a faster end to the misery.

Between DH and GA, I love Sunday nights!

Dr. Bailey has been a fave of mine right from the beginning. She's got attitude - I LOVE attitude!

Izzy and Alex - sort of saw that coming, Alex can be a nice guy, but he plays the jerk SO well! And I loved his "Dude, that was harsh" comment to McDreamy :LOL

Burke's reaction after learning about the pregnancy was so sweet - he really wanted to be with her, and he almost lost it in front of the heart patient. I think he and Christina make such a cute couple.

I laughed at the preview for next week, the part about Christina's mom. There she is talking about how Christina never brings a handsome man like Burke home, then the next thing you see is Christina screaming "somebody sedate me!" Reminded me of dealing with my MIL - I'd like to be sedated sometimes :LOL
