Lupron side effects??

I have taken 4 shots of Lupron so far (later today will make 5) and I seem to be having some side effects. I am soooooooo queasy and I get this real feeling that I am going to vomit (yet don't) that comes and goes in waves. It mostly feels crappy at night when I am trying to sleep. I end up having to sit up to sleep, as laying down makes it worse. Then last night I woke up sweating and my heart was racing. My partner agreed it was hot in the room, but said it was not "that" hot. So why am I reacting like this? Has anyone else experienced these feelings? What can I do? I expected the "full" feeling in my lower abdomen that I have been having, but not this.

I was nuts on the stuff. I would tear up at least 10 times a day. And, I would go from being deathly hot and ripping off my clothes to shivering. What an emotional ride! Whenever I would have a hot flash, I recall feeling a little queasy. I think everything you're feeling is normal. Although, I'm sure it's not fun.

Sounds about normal. The side effect vary greatly from person to person. I remember hot flashes, and being cranky.

OMG, I remember the hot-flashes!!! It puts you into temporary menopause, so you can expect a lot of the same symptoms. It was then and there that I started feeling bad about having teased my mom about her hot flashes and weird mood swings (she went through a period of needing to bake cookies in the middle of the night :LOL ). It will pass, and you will feel amazing on the estrogen. At least I did. I felt like the earth mother incarnate. Good luck!!!!

Well, I am close to be doing with it all. I have reduced the Lupron to 5 units and I will start my Gonal F 900 on Thursday. The icky feeling has sort of dropped. While I still feel some tummy upset, it is not nearly as bad as it was at the start. Thanks for the support ladies! This drug thing is a pain in the tush! :LOL
