Put a couple drops of saline in her nose to loosen the secretions then suck stuff out with a bulb syringle (aka snot sucker). It works well, but it will really make the baby mad.
Nursing in a steamy bathroom helps too, because they tend to have a hard time nursing with a stuffy nose - just turn the shower on as hot as it will go and close the door and windows.
I hope she feels better soon.

Lana's a little stuffy today too. I can hear it when she's nursing. I'm not going to rush her to the dr., just keep an eye on it. We slept with the a/c on last night and I think the dry air might have been bothering her.
Hope your little one feels better soon. How 'bout trying some vit c sopplements?

I think the big thing is to nurse, nurse, nurse.
Greer had a little cold and our midwife said that as long as she was nursing that was a good sign. She said nursing takes a lot of work for a newborn, and sometimes when they get sick they cut down on the nursing to save energy, and this isn't good.

A little breastmilk up the nose couldn't hurt either - it sometimes helps clear up the stuffies.
Off to squirt a little breastmilk in my 6 year old's ear...
(OK, so I use breastmilk for just about everything...
:LOL )
