to the repair shop for a tune up? :LOL My sewing machine has been losing it... She will be running fine then suddenly the thread from my bobbin will just go crazy and put like a zillion threads all over my project w/ no warning : What else could it be? Its taking me along time to make a diaper the past 2 days and now I have a zillion holes in my pul that Im going to pray some waterproof spray will help out

no help on the sewing machine (though when mine started to do that last week, it was the little screw on the bobbin holder that holds the metal plate thinger down... the one that you slide the thread under, this of course, assuming you have a front loading bobbin. the screw was loose. took me at least an hour of major problem solving to figure it out. I got a really well oiled, well cleaned machine out of it and I have a much better understanding of my machine. I could have lived without knowing that much!)

In terms of the holes in the PUL, FEAR NOT! I seriously screwed up the casing on one leg of my first PUL pockets. We're talking ripping it out and pinning it 3-4 times. MAJOR HOLES! First time I used it, leak city. I was sad. I thought all was lost.

I washed and dried it on hot.

NO LEAKS! The pin holes and needle holes ALL sealed themselves and there was no need to spray.

I was amazed. It works really well so I think you'll probably be fine. It's SOOO nice to share good news

wow thanks Beth thats really good to know about the PUL and leaks! I will have to check out that plate on my machine! DH wouldnt be too happy if I bring the machine in and they charge me some crazy fee to do that
