is this allergies?

Hi I am new here and thought this was the best place to ask for advice. My 7mo bf baby has reflux and is on meds for this. I wonder if it is actually allergies. She spits up alot yet is 95% for size and height. She is growing and thriving well. We cosleep and she is up at least 3x per night, but more often than that lately (hard to say how often- lol I sleep through most of it all). She nurses alot, every 2-3 hrs, likes to nurse lying down. I do notice some red pimples(?) kind of rash since birth. They kind of look like bug bites- red inflamed bumps, and have no pattern as to where or when the appear. Her anus/heiny crack is always red and sometimes she has bumps. She is in cloth ft and no real diaper rash ever. How do I tell if this is the telltale bullseye? She is practically ebf- I have offered her cereal, avacado, banana and she has had melon and grapes in a mesh feeder - all organic and homemade. I keep backing off just on instinct, nothing really concrete other than the spitting up. She is ready for solids, has all of the interest and meets allof the criteria, mommy is just not really ready. I give her acidophillus and chamomile along with the zantac meds for the reflux and she seems a bit better as far as spitting up. I just wonder if I should do a special diet. If so what kind of diet, what do I eliminate? Should I go ahead with the solids? Any other suggestions? I will probably try anything. Thanks

I would eliminate all dairy, first. See if there is improvement. Try for at least
two weeks. After that, look at the rest of the top 8 allergens. It sounds like it would be worth a try. I would definitely trade dairy products for a good nights sleep!

I would say definitely could be an allergy - or even more than one. Dairy is a great place to start. That means YOU have to give up all dairy, even stuff with just a trace of butter or whey or any dairy-related product since you are BF-ing. Oh, how I wish I had tried this when I was nursing my daughter! If removing dairy doesn't help, you could try wheat and/or soy as well.

My daughter's symptoms were similar to yours...upset stomach, up screaming all night, red bottom off and on.
