Here's a favorite I did a month ago

http://pic15.picturetrail.com/VOL591.../106781164.jpg

This one I finished a few days ago. The cords were very intimidating (ottobre pattern) but now I have 3 more cut out to sew up for ds

http://pic15.picturetrail.com/VOL591.../113457364.jpg

some more clothes for DS
http://pic15.picturetrail.com/VOL591.../113353628.jpg

Dipe for dd
http://pic15.picturetrail.com/VOL591.../113108491.jpg
http://pic15.picturetrail.com/VOL591.../113108493.jpg

And some wool pants I dip dyed (dye isn't perfect) and they are too big for rubes. 18-24mo size instead of 12-18mo size
http://pic15.picturetrail.com/VOL591.../113291630.jpg

When I look at the things I've made it seems substantial, but day by day I often feel not productive enough. Sheesh.

Wow!! The clothes (and kids) are gorgeous! I got that stripe knit on the 1.99 clearance table at Hancocks of all places.

Amy- Thanks Dying yarn is really easy. If you get the wool of the Andes from www.knitpicks.com it's cheap too. I loved all the colorways out there but I'm to cheap to spend $10-20 per skein of yarn to make pants for the baby.

That quilt is soooo cute! I love the cords, was the pattern hard? All the pants I've made have had elastic waists, I get so nervous with zippers, let alone pockets :LOL Great job!

ETA: duh, I just clicked the link to your post at pattern review. I never think to look there

Wow Deb those pants are perfect!

hee hee IKWYM Jill - I made a pair of those corduroys for DS and switched it to elastic waist - partly b/c he doesn't do zippers well, but mostly out of fear

Here are some of the things i've attempted so far for my little monkey that is due in February.

A couple diaper covers-
1st attempt at a cover
2nd cover this time with an elastic waist

A quilt for baby-
1st attempt at a quilt

A cute little outfit, a fleece hat, jacket, and pants-
baby's outfit

First attempt at making pocket diapers-1st three I made, before aplix was sewn on

And that is all I have pics of at the moment.

You guys are SOOOO inspiring. I have been twidling my thumbs making NAPKINS of all things, waiting to be inspired to really sew something. I want to make some diapers, some dresses for DD, and some lounge wear for DP and I.

Here's an album with some of the projects I've done in the past few months.

Vanessa's Album

I love looking at things people have made.

momma_andi: I love the colors you picked for your baby quilt. Very fun! Just a little tip. If you press the seams open in opposite directions on the rows that are going to be sewn together, you can then nest the seams and get the corners to line up more easily. I know that helped me a lot once I read it.

You girls do awesome work by the way!!!
Alison, did you use a pattern for these? I just love them! I'm having the hardest time finding patterns I like for my dd! You do good work!

I'm so impressed by everyone's work! You ladies rock!

Micki - the patterns were mostly from ottobre. I modified a kwiksew regular shirt pattern that I liked the fit of to do the dress. FOr the pants, Ottobre magazine and the jacket was ottobre too The shoes? I tore up ds's old robeez
