advice on converting my prefitteds to fitteds...

I hate snappis. So my prefittes are currently unloved and I find myself wanting more fitteds. So.....how best to turn my prefitteds into fitteds? Just add applix and voila?

i cut legs in mine, then bind the whole thing in FOE and apply H&L (you can use snaps if you like):
