what spices are likely allergens?

Hi, I am on an elimination diet to try to see what might be making my 5-week old DS so gassy and fussy. Right now my diet is very bland and I would like to add some spices but I don't know what is safe, or what spices are more likely to cause a reaction. I know garlic has caused problems for some. Are there spices you have to avoid?

I put some balsamic vinegar on my salad tonight. Anyone had problems with that? Thanks!

The only one I know of for sure is cinnamon. I don't think garlic is an actual common allergen, but it can cause heartburn, so they tell moms of babes w/ GERD to stay away from it. I can't think of any reason why balsalmic vinegar would be a problem unless the baby is allergic to grapes. HTH!

I know two people who say they are allergic to garlic.

You mentioned salad. Leafy greens tend to be gassy for little tummys. I hope this helps.
