I'm hopelessly enamored of the series. I'm a geek. I have none of the paraphanelia, tho. Oh, wait. Some books and a calendar.

I saw E

V, first run, in the theater - ooo
While the story isn't so strong for E

and E

I so far, I still dig the scenery, the special effects and the fact that it is at least attempting to back fill for the middle. Considering how slowlly it's gone, I can't imagine we can get the whole Luke&Leia saga as well as the Darth Vader hunts down all the jedi stuff in one movie. At least the stuffI want to see. Maybe we'll get a E

IIa/b

And, this is so silly, I think that Amadala is so cool, and pretty. I dug all those huge, weird things she wore in E

. But, I also really like Natalie Portman. She rocked in The Professional.
I thought my hubby was into it, and he likes it just fine, but he's really suspicious of the folks who act like it's real. I can see that. Alec Guiness really hated it when people would comment on his Obi-Wan, got downright rude. And Liam Nesson aprently is pretty embarassed about it. Whatever. I mean, I don't write to George Lucas or go to the conventions - I'll just sit here and be awe struck - and now admit it to ya'll....
It's just a movie-series. I don't think George Lucas is some sort of uber-genious, so I'm kinda glad there's something lacking in E

and E

I, perhaps the hero worship will die down a bit and we can just enjoy some really cool effects and story telling.
I guess I'm a little conflicted :LOL
