Wow, am I ever exhausted but so elated. Our baby girl arrived October 1st at 8:30 AM, after five consecutive nights and then two days of labor. She finally arrived by urgent c-section, as my uterus threatened imminent rupture, and the baby was transverse, posterior, and WAY TOO BIG to even fit through my pelvis. (I didn't know CPD really could happen, but now I know it can!) It was an attempt at VBAC, and I am so grateful to the doctors and my support team who pulled us through when it got really rough at the end.
Hillary is beautiful, 10 lbs, head of thick black hair, voracious nurser, and just the most precious little cub imaginable. We feel so incredibly blessed.
