Why can't i pick boy names? - Page 2

I think its harder to pick boy names because there are less of them. Boys traditionally were named after their fathers. And nowadays, people keep stealing boy names for the girls - my pet peeve!

Anyway, since we did have a boy we had a list of names - we tried to find those in that rare category of classic sounding but not too common. We ended up with Lucas nn Luke for our son. Some others we liked:

Owen
Aidan
Julian
Jonah
Caleb
Elijah
Nigel
Sebastian
Thaddeus
Larsen
Zeke
James

That's all I can think of right now. Love the name Zachary though. Good luck!

boy names are hard!

I have two ds and am pregnant with a third baby, gender currently unknown, but my suspicion is we're in for our third ds. Anyway, dh and I always pick a girl name easily and then struggle for a good boys name.

My first son is named Trevor and my second is Drew (technically Andrew).

I'm only four months along so we haven't really thought too much about names. I really like the name Benjamin, but dh hates it.

This thread has some good boy name suggestions I'll have to have my dh take a look at some of the ideas.

I love, love, love Aiden. It was my #1 choice when I was pregnant 3 years ago but was vetoed by my husband. I'll envy you a little if you get your Aiden, but he'll have a gorgeous name. I must say, however, I have also heard of several young Aidens these days..I work in an elementary school, so I tend to watch the name trends.
