anyone know how to convert muffin recipe to mini muffins?

Hey, good cooks -- I just got this mini muffin tin and Bleuet & I are all fired up to make cute little toddler-sized muffins. Only trick is that far more recipes are for full-sized muffins. Does anyone know a formula to convert the cooking time/temperature to mini size? I can bumble around myself, but if someone else has esperience, I'd love to hear. TIA!

No formula...I just bake 'em at the same temp & check starting about 5 mins sooner.

Funny thing about the mini muffins: DD usually eats half a muffin, whether it's regular sized or mini!

THey do take longer than 1/2 of the cooking time for regular muffins - at least in my oven.

The other "adaptation" I do is to use currants in place of raisins. Two raisins in a mini-muffin and there's very little muffin :LOL

Okay, you two are very funny -- half a muffin regardless of size, and raisins --> currants. I love that!

I find that pretty much any muffin recipe can be made into a minimuffin. Like a PP said just start checking it a bit earlier. And I love the currant idea.
