38 week ultrasound pic

Hey ladies! I just wanted to post a pic of the ultrasound i had today, because i've never personally seen one taken so late in the game, and i was really surprised how BIG she looks--only 20 weeks ago, you could see the whole baby in one shot, and now all you get is the face, and the bottom of it at that, lol!

So anyway, here's my baby girl; the tech says she weighs "6 lbs, 12 oz, give or take about 13 oz," lmao, so in other words, i've either got a 6-pounder, or an 8-pounder, and considering the fact that babies at this stage gain 1-1.5 lbs per week, she could end up anywhere from 8 lbs, to 11 lbs!!! So WHAT was the point of that test...? Oh well, i got some cute pics at least :P

I dont see anything :LOL I have this problem, though. I had to have an ultrasound to check the placenta after some bad pain that lasted a few days a few weeks ago....and the tech printed out pictures even though i told her I just wanted her to check the placenta and check it quick, because I didnt like ultrasounds. well, she handed me the pics but i was crying (from the pain) and just shoved them in my bag with the other paperwork. I got home and saw them and threw them out because I thought she printed out pics of the placenta just to piss me off. :LOL maybe they WERE pics of the baby and I just couldnt tell because its so close up.

also, she said the baby was 7lbs. the ultrasound was at 35 weeks 1 day. um. whatever. my dd was born 7lbs 11oz at 39 weeks 4 days. why would i now have a 11 or 12 lbs baby all of a sudden? those techs

I really cant see cheeks or anything....I want to, I will keep trying....maybe if I go across the room it will change my perspective. I am sure the baby is really cute though...and I am glad everything is going goood

okay, i went across the room and I think I saw. is that little cresent on the top the babys nose?? and is its hand coming up right below its chin? does it also look like it is puffing its bottom lip out?

that IS close up, and very chubby/cute.

Yay, you saw it MelMel! LOL you totally cracked me up :P Seriously though, alot of people can't see it; i bet that's why the 3-D ultrasounds are so popular!

what sucks is i bet i had cute little chubby chub baby pics like that and I threw them out. :
