Argh...this is just dragging on and on....
As you may remember, last week I had a tiny bit of spotting and went in for an u/s where a gestational sac was seen but no yolk sac or fetal pole. The same day, I went for a BHCG which came back at a very good level of 13,000 at 6w. On Friday, I went for another one which was 20,000. So, I'm still confused.
As a general rule, HCG should double every 2-3 days in normal pregnancies but, according to my recent research, that is only in 85% of normal pregnancies. And after the numbers hit 6000, it can take more than 4 days for the numbers to double!
I go back for another blood test tomorrow and this is driving me crazy!! I almost wish I had never started this whole process by telling my dr about the spotting. My dr is not positive at all and I am very frustrated. Right now, I just want to know what's going on.

I'm so sorry that you don't have any firm answers. I'm keeping you in my thoughts. Good luck with the test tomorrow.
