She made her enterance on October 10th at 1pm.
8 pounds 12 ounces
20 inches long
She was born in our bedroom, in a pool of warm water, caught by mommy.
I'm a little sore, but getting better everyday.
The hypnobirthing helped a lot, but I still yelled and complained a lot. *shrug* It still worked, and that's all that matters. For everyone, it's different, it seems.
I could not be happier.
No stitches needed, I did have two small tears though.
She's amazingly beautiful, and we're all getting used to each other. My duaghter Eva loves her, but seems to be jealous of the times when I have the baby. It's to be expected though.
She is a champion nurser, she latched on 19 minutes after birth and stayed there for the rest of the hour. She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces 25 hours later though, but she had pooped A TON!
My milk is coming in, and she's a bit fussy. I have my toddler still nursing, but I'm still a little engorged.
Anyway, I've been in bed for the last couple of days. I'm up now, because it's her fussy time and I don't want her to wake our toddler!
