Length of labor- 4 1/2 hrs from first contraction to birth

1. Baby's name - Gabriel Evan Powell
2. Baby due date - 10/23/05
3. Baby's birthday - 11/15/05
4. Sex and weight/height - male, 8lbs 12oz, 21 1/2 inches
5. How long you were in labor - 3 hours but the majority of the labor was in the last hour and 15 or 45 minutes... VERY INTENSE!!!
6. How are you doing? - I'm in absolute baby bliss land. Emotionally I feel so much more centered and grounded after this birth than I did with my first. I didn't tear at all, only had a minor labial split which healed very quickly. Gabriel latched on after 5 minutes of being born and has been nursing like a champ ever since. My size F cup breasts need to be pumped twice a day to prevent engorgement... at 10 days postpartum we have no more room in our freezer for expressed milk!!! Gabriel is sleeping pretty much through the night (for a newborn) only waking twice to feed and be changed. I'm so in love with him and our new family dynamic. Alright... I'll stop writing my novel
