Hi ladies...I was hoping to get some feedback from you all...Ok, well I had my u/s this morning and i'm a little confused....
Ok, the u/s tech has been doing this for 27 years...she was really nice...it was a transvaginal u/s. OK, so she right away tells me she sees a "fibroid-ous area" on the top of my uterus....then she goes on to measure another fibroid that is in the endometrial layer but it's posterior. I thought she mentioned that she saw a few of them here and there but they were 1/4 of an inch or less. She said my ovaries were beautiful.... She my right ovary had 6 follicles and my left ovary had 11 but all of them were very small and not enough to ovulate (yet). I'm on cd 13 and usually O around cd15-17.
Ok, well I get back into the dr.'s office to discuss the results of the u/s and she tells me everything looks fine. She doesnt mention the multiple follies and she says the fibroids are small and not in a place where they would interfere with conception ....then I go on to ask her why I'm still having some pain on my right side and still spotting and she says, "i dont know...everything looks normal" Also, I ask her if I should cut back on caffeine or take any herbs or change my diet, etc....and she shrugs and says...no....none of that will make a big difference....
I guess i'm confused and frustrated.....I mean...could these fibroids grow? Could I get more? Does anyone know here if they could be a reason for me not getting pg? OR maybe there are some that are too small to see on u/s but are enough to impede implantation???? Any ideas on this? so frustrated and sad... Thanks...
Judy
