Look here

I made these, let me know what you think? All the stitching was done by hand, so the threads don't show on the side against baby's bum.

actually once I get a rhythm going on the sewing, it usually goes pretty quick, I'd say adding in sewing, cutting & applying the pattern before it gets stitched, it is a total of 1 1/2 hrs or so depending on how many pieces are in the pattern. For ex. the Dora & Snow White ones were much quicker, 30-45 min. each, I really enjoyed it too, now I wanna try it on prefitteds, then I would be in love, cause the are even easier than pfs to put on the kiddos

Aaawww thanks mamas. I think dh thinks I am crazy putting so much effort into prettying up diapers, but it makes it so much more fun!

Ignore your DH. My wife occasionally thinks I'm a nut for wanting to pretty up the stash too. Mostly because there are a million other things that I could be doing that would be more helpful to the house (our floors really need a good scrubbing for example... )

If I get a whole lot of joy out of prettying up the diapers and enjoy using them more, then that's good for my soul. 'nough said! (and here I'll add the caveat that usually my wife is very gung ho about my diapering projects so I get support more often than not)

I love your prefolds. I think the ducky one is my favourite but I also really like the idea of turning scooby into paw prints. They look so cute on your kids!
