and saw !!! It was so weird and dh almost choked on his water when talking to the dr. The dr. said all 3 had nice cardiac development and 1 is a little smaller than the other 2. He also said there is still a chance that 1 or more won't make it to the end of the 1st trimester, so we are : and praying.

So...how do you sling 3? and nurse 3? and will there be room in bed for all 5 of us?

Thanks all! I'm feeling pretty good. I've figured out that if I don't eat I get nauseaus and if I just eat a little bit, I turn ravenous. My mom said she was puking all 9 months with me, so I figure so far I'm doing really well. I had a feeling there were 2. I kept thinking how the nursery would be set up and then would stop and wonder if it would work that way with 2 and then I stopped myself from ordering CPFs Wednesday because I would need more if there were 2. That extra one is throwing me for a loop and dh just keeps looking at my belly and saying things like, "I still can't believe it."

WOW!! Congrats!!! And that is so sweet!

There's a yahoogroup about AP multiples... They would have sling and family bed advice... I have no idea about three newborns (AWWW!) in together.

As a Mama of twins I'm always on the look out for posts on MDC about multiples. I was so excited to see yours!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS x3!!!!

There are two books you must RUN out to buy. One is called "When You're Having Twins, Triplets or More" by Dr. Barbara Luke. It covers twins and higher order multiples, how to eat well to carry them longer, etc. I carried my girls to 38w3d and give this book a lot of credit for that. Many of the moms on the multiples board here at MDC had the book as well. The other book is "Mothering Multiples" by Karen Gromada. You can buy it at the LLL web site. It is a MUST HAVE for moms AP'ing/bf'ing multiples. It does cover triplets as well. Oh, adn the Yahoo! AP'ing multiples group someone mentioned is great! Karen Gromada posts to it often! I'm sure she'd LOVE to see you there. If you can't find the group PM me and I'll get you to it.

My advice....? Ditch the nursery and co-sleep! And come visit us on the multiples board. Congratulations again!!!

Congrats, congrats, congrats! My dear friend had boy/girl twins via IVF in 2004, and though it's been challenging at times for them, she says the sheer joy of two babies at once is unbelieveable! She carried her twins to 38+ weeks, too - I told her, "you grew the heck out of those babies!"

Health and happiness to you along this exciting journey
