WHOO HOO Nursing Lounge RAVE!!

I am so happy I could die! Today we attended church in our newly constucted chapel (I belong to the LDS church). I have always been pleased with the accomodations they make for nursing moms, but today I was wowed!!!!

I ended up hunting down the Mother Lounge (this is what is called with a nice sign out front for easy location) I walked in to the room to find 12, yes 12 lounge chair rockers, a wonderfull changing station and sink and a seperate bathroom. The room was huge and just wonderfull with peacefull paintings and even a full length mirror to check yourself out, LOL.

I think I may just have to post a pic next time I can get over there to take a picture. I just had to rave.

Ohh and by the way they don't force you to go there, you can nurse whereever, but it sure is nice to have a comfy place to feed my baby.

I found a nursing lounge like that once. Made me wish there was a bed in there, so we could lay down and nurse to sleep!

WOW! That is SO awesome! I wish my church had a lounge like that. It is a stake center, built in about 2001 or 2002, but our mother's lounge you have to go through the ladies' restroom in order to get to it, and it always smells like poopy diapers. Sometimes I just take out the garbage can and move it into the bathroom at the beginning of chuch, immediately open the window, and then it doesn't smell so bad after about 15 minutes. With the next baby, I'll probably nurse in the chapel most of the time since I'll be wrestling with an almost-two year old AND a new baby. But if I had a lounge like that, I'd probably go out of my way to nurse in there!
