Nothing, nada, zip ...

Well so much for the full moon I didn't have any contractions last night, we even went walking for a while, but nothing major. I did lose a TON of my mucous plug though and DH says that my cervix has moved farther forward now so he can easily reach it and even feel behind it (he could barely reach it before). I pick my mom up from the airport tonight so maybe it's a good thing that she is being this stubborn. I have my 40 week midwife appt tomorrow and I am sure she will want to discuss inducing ugh. Here's hoping that the baby shows up by this weekend!

who's your midwife?

It's the group of midwives for Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia. She is concerned that the baby is going to get way too big, which doesn't concern me, I think my body can handle it. We think the baby will be 10+ lbs. I plan to do what I can beforehand to make sure they don't have to induce. Hopefully it will work!

You should be okay... Hopefully your 40 wk appt. is with Cat. She'll be far less concerned, I would think. Discussing induction is not the same thing as actually inducing, so hopefully they won't be too interventive. Good luck to you.

Yeah, Cat never mentioned induction. This is #6 for me so I think my body can handle it pretty well. It was Molly that mentioned inducing at my last appt. She said she thought the baby was already well over 8 lbs and was worried about me going over 41 weeks. I'm not sure who I'm seeing tomorrow, but hopefully we can avoid talking about inducing lol.

Well ignore Molly. The baby's not going to get so much bigger in the next week that it's going to make some huge difference. I'm sure you'll be fine and an induction would NOT be fun. Cat says she hates inductions.

Had my 39 week apt today and I'm as exhausted and frustrated as if I were 42. I feel like I can't hold on any longer... 12 hours a day alone with a 20 month old spirited toddler has taken its toll on me. I just wish there were some way I could just spend a few days alone, and yet I feel so selfish for wishing so.
I joined the Nov. DDC when I first found out I was pg because I went with the later date knowing that I would most likely feel this way at the end. But they are all just ending their 8th month or just beginning their 9th... so I feel like such a complainer posting my frustrations.
These past two weeks I have had lots of prodromal labor with no baby to show for it. That's the way it happened last time too when I went 42 weeks and 2 days. I'm so exhausted that I just don't know if I can make it 3 more weeks like this.

Oh, yeah... and the full moon thing last night : : I'm not talking to her for awhile
