I particularly like the sweet smell of the top of their heads just after they fall asleep nursing. The soft hair, and that baby smell! I wish I had been able to nurse dd for longer...

oh yes!!! My DD still smells beautiful at 13 months, but when she was a tiny baby she smelled like vanilla... I would just constantly be smooshing my face into her skin and hovering over her while she slept, just drinking in that smell. I thought that the smell of her actually made my milk let down. In fact, she smelled great right out of the womb. I never did let them bathe her in the hospital because she smelled so freakin good. I was still cleaning vernix out of her crevices a week later. LOL
