a publication or tv show telling them you thought homeschooling was badly portrayed?
I have written in response to several articles ( like the one that came out of California that said homeschoolers would all be on welfare or in prison)
Judge Judy today had a homeschooler on there shown not at her best or her kids best
since she is based in Calf I can't help but wonder if that was done on purpose??
I am going to write and express my opinions

Dear Cerridwenlorelei:

I did not see that Judge Judy.

I do remember years ago that Phil Donahue (his first show that was on NBC) had David and MIcki Colfax and their four sons on his show that was in NYC; the family handled themselves well in front of a very unsympathetic NY audience. Do you know who they are? They sent their oldest 3 to Harvard and the youngest to chef school. The first test they ever took was the SAT. She herself was an English teacher and her dh is a professor.

Micki Colfax remarked that homeschooling her 4 sons would have been much better if she had lived in NYC instead of on a Contra Costa County mountaintop in Central California b/c of all of the museums, libraries, etc.

I did send a letter to NBC in NY at the time, but I only got a form letter back thanking me for my interest.

This was about 1986.
