Today is My Due Date

I really thought I was going to have this baby early. No beans. I am soo very ready, very miserable. I can't believe how huge my belly is!! It couldn't have been this big last time. Come on baby!

Howdy, me too. Due today, that is. I long ago passed the "bigger than I've ever been" line. Think I did that back in July or so. It's now veered into "Do I still have feet?" territory.

I've given up thinking the baby will be early and am now hoping he comes right on time...

well remember this is your last free day...only 5% of babies are born on your due date so you can do anything you want today and odds are against you going in labour...and if you do...BONUS

I am now 3 days past my due date...there is a certain calm to the days now...soon you will be holding your baby!

LOL I went to my midwife appointment today and someone in the waiting room asked, "When are you due?" I said "Today!" Just thought it was funny.
Nothing has happened since last week, I'm still 50% effaced and 1 cm dialated...my midwife said I need to start having lots of sex..heheh..too bad I'm too miserable to do so.

Congrats on your due dates, ladies! Like allgirls, I'm also 3 days past my EDD and feeling pretty peaceful about it - the pressure is off! I hope you both enjoyed your day. On mine we had a lovely, lazy afternoon followed up by a bonfire/weenie roast with the kids. It really helped the day pass quickly and gives me something to look back and smile about.

Tomorrow is my due date and I am feeling stressed about it. I don't know why...I guess I need to let it go and accept that this little one won't come out until ready. I was really hoping that s/he would come early like dd. Maybe right *on time*? I have no idea...........

Yeah I shouldn't get to anxious, my first was 3 days late and my mom was 10 days late with me and my sis!

That's so funny...when my two year old hugs me I can't see her...she's under my belly...she thinks it's hilarious..puts her head back and goes "peek a boo" :LOL

I'd like to be peaceful past my due date, but it's not going to happen, not while my legs keep feeling like they're going to pop out of their sockets. After a while it gets really hard to look on the bright side of the baby being engaged...

Ah well, it could be worse, at least I lack the back pain of previous pregnancies.

Oh ditto to that! I am barely 5 feet tall, and it's hard to move at all most of the day. I still have 2 days until my due date too. I'm not having ridiculous hip pain, at least not all the time, but my pelvis seriously feels like it's breaking in two when I get up from a seated position. Makes it really difficult to run after my two year old.

Yeah, I'm short too, feel like a turtle or a beetle when I try to get off the couch or the bed..I have to rock back and forth until I have enough force to propel myself up to a sitting or standing postion! And I can't sleep..my sleep schedule has gotten sooo weird.
