40 week appt

Well I had my appt today at 1. I was still losing a ton of mucous and having a lot of contractions. She said my cervix is still thick which is normal since I've had so many kids. I was almost 2 cm and she went ahead and stretched it to a 2. She said that if the baby doesn't come by next week we could break my water which was fine with me. I would rather do that than have pitocin. So that is about it. We walked around walmart for 2 hours and I am making some spicy chinese food. The contractions have almost stopped though so who knows when it will happen.

I'm sure you'll go soon! At least you have a plan. I've been really nervous about AROM, but it's starting to sound better and better if I go too late.

I've been really nervous about AROM

I'm getting more nervous about it the more I think about it. I'm worried that the contractions won't start and then they will start pushing me to get an iv and pitocin and I really, really don't want that. Hopefully I won't have to worry about that and she will show up sometime this weekend...
