Hey, I just met the author of this letter at the Nocirc conference!

Cool letter, too, from Amber Craig of NOCIRC NC - she's awesome, too!

She spells "circumcised" wrong! :LOL but the article itself is very good - very common sense, supportive of breastfeeding and co-sleeping.

Hmmm, let's examine the evidence:

1) I have at least a passing acquaintance with the 60s (born in 68)

2) I'm vegetarian

3) I'm extremely liberal

4) I haven't had a haircut in over 8 months and it's way past my shoulders

5) I haven't gotten my hair colored in over 8 months and all my gray is showing

6) I just picked up my 15 year old Birkenstocks from the Birk store, had them resoled and recorked for the 3rd time

Guess I'm a graying hippie!!

(Although I wasn't at the protests themselves - only at the Nocirc conference - but it rocked! )

Hmmmm, if I ever attend an anti-circ. demonstration, I'd better 1. make sure I've attended the beauty parlor lately, so my gray hair is dyed out of existence and 2. wear a business suit, not my usual t-shirt or sweatshirt and jeans. :LOL

Thanks for posting this, Tara! It was interesting. I wish I could have been one of the demonstrators.
