Sears' Sleep book

I work for a bookstore and was fortunate enough to receive a galley copy of The Sleep Book. No worries that Dr Sears has changed sides in the sleep debate. It's pretty much an expansion of the sleep chapter in The Baby Book. There aren't sleep solutions as much as ways to encourage sleep -- for both you and your baby.

What I really loved was that the book addressed so many facets of baby sleep and how it effects us as parents. For example, I happen to have insomnia along with a night-waking baby, so I appreciated his suggestions for helping me sleep once my baby has, such as breathing techniques and recipes for smoothies and teas.

I can give a more substantial review if you'd like...just need to review the book since it's been a couple months since I've read it. But overall, it was very AP.

Funny mskgandn- you wake up, the baby wakes up. When asked if dd sleeps through the night, I always laugh and say that at 40 I STILL wasn't sleeping through the night!LOL- I like that Dr sears has some advice for the mommies too. If possible it is best to sleep when the baby sleeps for me.
