Hey, I'm having surges!

I woke up with them at 3 this morning. They feel nothing like I thought they would feel. The midwife says it could be prelabor or it could be the start of true labor; it's too early to tell but either way, it could be a while. She did say the drop in barometric pressure can cause "false" contractions. I'm timing them and they are somewhere around ten minutes apart.
