Me!!!

I am waiting waiting...1week past EDD today..was supposed to go for NST but skipped it...I may or may not go tomorrow...still have to call midwives.

I slept late and I am fighting off a cold bug and my friend was coming to visit...plus it's Sunday...my relax day!

I think they don't know what to do with me

Today's my due date too.

I've been having really strong contractions all day, but who knows if they'll go anywhere. I've been having prodromal labor for over 2 weeks now. It would be easier to be patient if I weren't in pain.

Still waiting here. Today I am 1 week over due as well. I am going to go ahead and have a non-stress test tomorrow....nothing better to do! I am starting to feel like the baby is never goign to be born!! I know it is totally normal to go over (although I have never gone this over before) but it still just feels like I am just going to keep on being pregnant. Intellectually I know the baby HAS to be born eventually, it just doesn't feel like it!

waiting sucks! I'm getting soooo impatient I feel like I'm gonna go crazy! I was due Oct 11th, so I'm comming up on 42 weeks pretty soon. There are no signs of her comming other than a shedding mucus plug that has been going on for weeks now. I want this baby out now! I can't take it anymore!! :: sigh :: well she can't stay in there forever...

Greetings,
I am not part of your DDC, nor am I even preg. I just wanted to throw a quick update on one of your DDC memebers... I do not know all of the stats but ..

AKA Mommy had her baby. Little girl, 8lbs, homebirth, born on thursday night .

I am sure she will be on soon enough to fill all of you (an me) in with all the details.. I cannot wait to hear EVERYTHING!!!!!! Her PC took a crap and she has not been able to get online.

Congrats to her!

I'm due Tuesday, but I am already a little anxious because I've shown no signs of impending labor, I've had no Braxton Hicks contractions, and my cervix is hard and tight. My midwife recommended massaging it nightly with evening primrose oil. I'll find out tomorrow if that softened the cervix or not (I get checked by her tomorrow afternoon). I'm eager to get him out because over the last several weeks I've developed painful carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrists and my fingers are swollen and sometimes won't even make a fist. I'd like my hands back! And, I'd really like to meet my little Connor who already knows his name and recognizes certain songs. He has quite a personality already.

Was due the 19th. Still no signs of labor. I'm past considering contractions a sign of labor.

I was due the 21st, so over 3 days here. But I have had a couple of positives yesterday!! I had a LOT of mucous plug yest. morning, though I've been having bits for 2-3 weeks. I had the baby drop a lot, though she is up higher since I've been to bed. I was having a lot of lower pressure and back pressure and a few stronger ctrx, though it's eased up since I've rested. Hmmm.....could go either way I guess. But I do feel a little more excited and hopeful today that this little one could come on her own before I get back to the DR! We are making some "deposits" this morning and I am going to do a lot of walking today!!! I am going to nest and lean forward and maybe even crawl around on my hands and knees to try to get her back down again.

Good luck everybody!!

I was due on the 19th, so I'm 5 days over due. I have also stopped getting excited over cramps and contractions. Lost my mucous plug on Saturday and thought something was going to happen...Going today to get checked out. I am also starting to feel like this baby is never going to come out.

I was due on the 21st but still waiting. It feels like the baby's pretty comfortable in there and i'm not TOO uncomfortable most of the time other than feeling like I'm in limbo and having swollen hands and feet.

I told my DH it doesn't feel like anything is going to happen on its own. I'm not even sure if I've had any random contractions yet or not. I've felt tightening and stuff, but I think that could also be the baby stretching or something since it's totally not painful.

The worst part is all the people calling up to ask if I've had the baby. If I don't answer then they get even more frantic thinking that I'm actually HAVING the baby and that's why I don't answer which is even worse.

I'm waiting....I'm due today! I don't think I'll be seeing my baby tonight, but I guess you never know! Congrats to all the October mamas who have their babes in their arms!!

EDD was on Saturday for us, it came and went quietly and uneventfully.

Last night I had contractions for a while that were definitely stronger than before, we went for a nice long walk and they were coming 10-12 minutes apart. I woke up a few times overnight with them too, but all's quiet this morning. DH did make a 'deposit' yesterday afternoon...maybe I can get him to do it again today?

Overall I'm not feeling anxious or anything, I am fully trusting that our baby and my body are doing exactly what needs to be done. It's everyone else that's getting super-antsy. I'm starting the get the daily check-in phone calls as well as the "you're STILL pregnant?" comments.

Today I will practice yoga, relax and try to stay as centered as possible...

Yep, still waiting!
Due date is the 25th. I thought for sure this baby would be early, but I guess not. I thought for sure this baby would be a libra. I guess a Scorpio is in our future! Strangely, I just simply have no idea when this baby will come, now. Fortunately, I'm not as uncomfortable as I was with my first, although my stomach certainly does not seem like it can stretch any more!

Waiting. Anticipation. Wondering.

These are my key words each and every hour.

At least 3 year olds keep you remarkably busy!

Well, I'm not due until 10/29, but the sooner the better. My dh just took leave at work and my mom will be here for 2 weeks starting Wed., my dad will be here for a week, so I just don't want him to be very late! I havent really had much signs, he's dropped a little and I've had mentral-like cramps several times...

Sounds like me. My mom came out for 2 weeks and has to leave this saturday. There's already been a couple times when I thought I was in labor, contractions every 2 minutes and everything! Still nothing.... Still waiting.... I have my 41 week appt tomorrow and might see if she will strip my membranes to get things going, if that doesn't work she is breaking my water friday afternoon. It just sucks because my mom was here to help out after I had the baby and now she will have to leave while I'm still in the hospital

We're still waiting too.
Due the 27th...no signs yet except lots of braxton hicks.
Off to read about red rasberry leaf tea!

aww it looks like I'm the most overdue person on the DDC right now . 42 weeks today. I was at least saying that she is definatly going to be born in October, but with how long she's been waiting, she may very well be born in November. She only has a week left to be an October baby. I'm not concerned about her being overdue so long, she is still quite active and healthy and STUBBORN!!! There will be no inductions for me, just waiting, and waiting, and waiting..... I think I have become fully insane due to late 3rd trimester pregnancy! The only way I'm surving is reminding myself that no one stays pregnant forever. She HAS to come out soon! We already carved her a pumpkin so she better be here before halloween! ... : ... ... ... ... ... ::sigh::
