Is ALL fleece treated?

I recently bought some "anti-pill" fleece at JoAnn fabrics to make some pants for my boys. The label read, "100% polyester, flammable".

So I took that to mean that the material wasn't treated with a flame retardant.

But do I still need to be concerned that it could have been treated with a waterproof chemical? Or would that have to be stated on the material?

Most of the fleece you find in fabric stores has not been treated with any water proofing agent. Your most likely safe. I've searched high and low locally for waterproof fabric to use in cloth diapers and I sure haven't found anything at Joanne's or hancock.
