We recently bought a fairly cheap but nice looking wooden two-drawer filing cabinet. For a while it sat near DH's desk, then I decided to re-organize the living room and I thought I'd try it out as an end table. It looks great with our couch! We use the top drawer for our household paper work and the bottom drawer for whatever suits our needs at the time. (For a while diaper storage)
And it locks!!! So it is fantastic for keeping scissors and things DS could hurt himself with accessable to us but out of reach for him.
