I'm back. I have calmed down a bit and decided that I'm going to sit down with him and have him watch a few circ videos. I think he'll come around. We just moved into our new place so I think we're both a lot less stressed out and will be able to be more calm with the discussion.

Here's a fun idea...when you want to destress and take a break from unpacking/worrying about circ, check out the Babywearing board and find yourself a cool carrier or two to carry your little baby around in! A little retail therapy always helps calm the nerves. I recommend checking out www.kozycarrier.com (my favorite Mei Tai) and www.theslingset.com (my favorite pouch system - best way to carry a newborn). 
And BTW, babywearing is an AWESOME way for men to bond with their babies. My dh is the one who figured out how to use the Maya Wrap we used with my first, and he taught me. My BIL has his own Kangaroo Korner Adjustable Fleece Pouch and Kozy for carrying my nephew in. Check this out:
