I defend the right to make a choice, not the choice itself. Big difference
And for the record, I personally don' t believe in circumcision and would appreciate it if you didn't say that I do support it.

ok I get what you are saying about choice. but this forum is called "The Case AGAINST Circumcision". I don't think many here support a choice in the matter.

I also defend the right to make a choice on this issue -- the right of the person who has the penis! No one else should have the right to make the choice for cosmetic alterations on a persons body!

Even if the employee doesn't get to choose the stock things do get back to the manager or whoever does choose the stock. Like imagine that woman said, "Did you know some people are really offended by that Jenny McCarthy book?" maybe when it's time to re order another of those they just wouldn't do it.

Kudos to the OP for standing up.

But the sales person has input with management and if enough people complain, management will get the message.

Why? because the only way circumcision of boys will end is if people are educated. Simply leaving the store would be a cop-out.

Do you realize what forum this is? It's "The Case Against Circumcision" forum.

Yeah, that's supporting circumcision! The penis is owned by the person it is attached to and all rights to cosmetically alter it belongs to that man. No one else! Circumcision of a child is simply a violation of his body in the most personal and private manner possible at the mans most vulnerable time ever. What you are doing is called "enabling" and you are an "enabler" and that is supporting circumcision.

But, you clearly said above that you support those who do circumcise and that is supporting circumcision. You are talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Unless she is as old as Abraham, The Patriarch of the Bible, the information about circumcision as being bad for baby boys has been around for a very long time.

People simply believe what they choose to believe. The information simply does not go away and resurrect in a evolutionary manner.

True, but not enough people were spreading it. The medical profession gained more from finding (and prepetuating) more and more reasons to do it. That gain has started to slow, and will *someday* stop, but not soon enough for me.

Whoo hooo! You go girl!! You may have cringed but you did a great job. I know I would have mumbled something then shut up.
You never know, maybe you just saved a future grandson, or some other baby the chop.
