Nausea, sickness (haven't kept anything down all day), diarrhoea, regular strong(ish) contractions every 8 minutes and I was 3cm dilated when I looked this morning... please, find me another explanation, I'm losing my nerve.

Either way (labor or not) I do hope you feel better. Tummy troubles really bum me out (esp vomiting ) so I really feel for you.

Keep us updated!

When I went into labor with DS, I called and told my mw I was either in labor or dying of food poisoning - sounds like where you are right now!

I'm sendiing you happy birthing vibes! How exciting that you could be holding your little one by this time tomorrow!

Hmmmm.....interesting stuff happening there! I really hope you feel better if you are indeed unwell, or that you have a peaceful birthing time and regain your nerve if you are in labor!!

That's what I love most about this board -- brutal honesty!! I mean, I need to KNOW that early labor is going to make me feel like crap!

Erm. Nope (this is 7am, Brit time, so I was in bed. Slept through the night as well) Still contracting, more sickness, but I think this baby listened when Steve told him to stay put until the weekend . If this is labour, it's going to be a while getting going. We're going for a long walk today (the small person reading over my shoulder screamed NO and ran away when he read that )
The problem is that our wonderful, enlightened NHS trust consider anything before 38 weeks to be premature (anything after 41 weeks is postmature as well, so that's also a no-homebirther), and Steve doesn't want to have to be forceful and insistent. Also, our midwife is on annual leave until Saturday.
Thanks- if anything exciting happens, I'll let you know
