Nephews are wonderful! I have three. One is circ'ed, and if my brother had had a boy this year he probably would have been circ'ed too, so I know how you feel.

If it turns out she does cut him, please don't feel guilty. You gave her information - you can't make her read or understand it.

Oh, I don't feel guilty because its not my choice. My stomach is just a mess thinking about it though.
I woke up all night and was praying for him. I just can't stand the thought of any baby let alone a child I will love and care for being hurt.

Our sons are 2 months apart so will likely grow up being great friends.

I am always a little shocked when people don't read and think about it beforehand, and a lot of my friends are like that. I know circ was the first thing that came to mind when I found out DS was a DS by ultrasound.

It's like helllloooo??? You did hours of research into which crib you were going to get, but none about this?

And here's hoping that her DH is of the "er, whatever" persuasion. Mine couldn't have cared less about circ, and I was ALL geared up for a fight.
