New baby boy at work

My coworker just had a baby boy (the second one in two weeks!) and I went to visit her last night. I asked if she had gotten him circ'd and she said "Oh, they're coming to do that tomorrow." I asked why and she kinda blustered and fumbled a bit and you could tell she never even thought about it. We ended up talking for a bit about it and I told her about the risks of it and the non-existant medical benefits. She actually seemed really interested and said she'd talk to the doc about it before consenting. Let's keep our fingers crossed! :

P.S. Dad wasn't there, so I don't know if he'd push for it or not.

Hopefully it will get her thinking.

I wouldn't hold out hope for the doctor, it's a big money maker for them.

Not a money-maker - these are military docs. They get paid the same whether the kid gets cut or not. So, maybe he won't want to do it so he doesn't have to lose half an hour of his precious time.

I wonder where the circ level would be if everyone would just research it before having their sons?
