Anyone keeping a belly piercing????

As my tummy started to grow, my belly button ring began to pinch. I ended up taking it out about 3 weeks ago (17 weeks). It looked so weird bc I have had it for SO long, but I am used to it now.

hm...my belly has hardly grown, maybe that's why mine is ok....but I'm at 21 weeeks already. I just bought a bar made for us online, so we will see how that goes! www.pregnancypiercings.com

I have a navel piercing and plan to leave it in through out the pregnancy/birth. I did with ds and had no problems with it. Mine is just a plain ol' circular barbell.

I kept mine in through my whole pregnancy with DD. I took it out this time just because I'm kind of sick of it.

I had a navel piercing but I took it out because it started to pinch as well, this was when I was pregnant for the first time. When I got really big the scar stretched out wierd and when I was pregnant with ds I got strange stretch marks coming out of the scar but no where else on my belly. So now I have this wierd streched out scar with stretchmarks coming out of it and I am waiting to see what will happen to it with this pregnancy. If it is comfortable for you though I see no reason as to why it could not be left in.

I miss mine. It got sooo tight with #1 that I had to take it out-and I couldn't find anything that would feel comfortable. Then after the birth I was in such a mama haze that I never put it back in and it closed up.
Right before I got pg this time I was really planning on putting it back in.

After I had taken mine out I remember reading about someone using the same gauge of (maybe) plastic cord since it could be long and accomodate the stretching.
