Lexapro to Zoloft?

Has anyone switched from Lexapro to Zoloft, this is what the psychiatrist recommended today because lexapro is making me dizzy. I don't know what I want to do, I want to be off meds alltogether. I am worried Zoloft will make me dizzy too?

Might be me as well.

How long have you been on it? Mine seems to be getting worse, not better.

I hate to say this but maybe you could give Zoloft a 1 month trial? I know this must be so frustrating for you to not feel right... The zoloft might be the right fit for you and that could make it worth the wait....I remember when I was having side effects and I would do almost anything to make them stop
You could turn a corner anytime now too

I've been on lexapro for a month, I have had 2 pychiatrists say my dizziness should be gone by now, but it isn't. How long have you been on it? Very frustrating!

I had side effects of a length of time no one expected either - when I was discontinuing zoloft. It took me two months of slowly tapering down, at least that long, and I had head spins continually and it sucked. My psych kept saying, I've never heard of this before, big comfort, right? But I survived. Did take to having a little afternoon cocktail towards the end there (alcoholism is NOT one of my issues to be clear) just to take the skin crawling edge off. Having gotten off of it though, I did very very well, until I had a major nervous breakdown all the sudden and had to go to the hospital. So, sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Perhaps the dizziness will pass, even after two months. I will be interested to hear from you.
