Oh yeah! I've been in maternity clothes since maybe the 10th or 11th week. My pants just don't look very maternity (and in fact I think I might even be able to use them after the fact) b/c they have such a low rise and are stretchy. Love them! However, I really need to buy some shirts. I have lots of maternity clothes left over from my previous pregnancies, but those are all for hot hot hot weather, not winter! So I'm pretty much recycling the same 2 or 3 shirts over and over again at this point and freezing on colder days cuz I have no sweaters. My big problem is that I never find anything I like at Motherhood (which is the most convenient place for me to go) plus I just hate their return policy (so on principle alone I don't like to shop there)! I keep meaning to look through Target but I never seem to get the chance.

For a while now... at least a month or so, which means since 10-11 weeks.
Although just maternity pants so far, haven't needed maternity shirts yet. But in the next few weeks I'll need 'em.

I ordered a cute-looking fleece jacket/sweatshirt type thing from Old Navy (among a few other things) that looks promising to help keep me warm, but won't really know until it arrives.

Regarding maternity clothes and return policy: (I know this is the wrong thread... but oh well)

I like Old Navy. Some of their larger stores have a level with maternity and kids clothes. But in the off chance you don't have one near you, you can always return anything you get online at one of their retail stores. They don't even have to have the item in their store. I haven't tested it out, but this is what friends have told me.

Most of my clothes are from old navy. Love the undies too! I only have one other pair of pants and wool pea coat from motherhood maternity.

I switched bras, and have one pair of maternity pants, since none of my other pants fit. However, my legs are skinnier lately (apparently all my body weight is rearranging itself.) and they don't stay up so well right now - I have to pull them up a lot. Still in regular shirts - no seeing myself in maternity shirts until waaaay later.

My maternity clothes, as well as my regular clothing, is all either a) too big; b) out of season or c) falling to shreds. So I'm not in maternity clothing, but it's only because I'm poor.

i cant bring myself to wear maternity yet, or go shopping i should say (i hate shopping!) so i bought a couple belly huggers that way you can unbutton your pants and they still stay up, and shirts that are too short are still ok because you have the layered look with the belly hugger. AND best of all. it keeps you covered while you nurse. i cant wait to recieve them in the mail.

There is a store here that carries those...i thought they looked cool...

Hey! How did our "official belly pics thread" get so OT? We need a "maternity clothes" thread. It's fun to hear about how most of you mamas are right where I'm at (in pants, but not shirts quite yet)
I need to take my 17 1/2 week pic.

I need a belly hugger... are they available online? I'm almost ready for my "bridge" pants (between regular pants and maternity pants), and I doubt my dh will let me use his pants for that purpose this time around.

Okay, thank you for discussing the belly hugger... I found a store locally which carries them. We're leaving on a trip in 3 days, and I had been wondering what on earth I was going to take for pants (besides the same old jeans which still fit).

Adina, my legs have gotten skinnier too (the hyperemesis and lack of exercise : ), and the bump I'm developing seems way higher than I remember with my boys. I'm at the stage where I always feel like I'm turning into a pod person (I guess I am).

Okay, I've got a new pic to share. This is me at 18 weeks & a day (mind you, I'm measuring a good 5-6 weeks ahead!). I just compared this to a pic taken of me during my last pregnancy a week and a half further along than I am now and what a difference! I'm definitely bigger this time!

Holy cow!

I have quite a while before I am that big....I took another pic last night - but I think I was a bit on the bloated side...so I may have to do another one tonight...

I still don't think that I am looking at all pregnant...

Wanna see my baby belly?
Well, too bad. That lump sticking out is all my displaced organs and extra padding. The baby's below the lump. Eventually I'll end up with a big round belly, but that's a ways off.

eta: I'm only 16 weeks.

Oh, I forgot to mention:

Old navy not only took my returns after I washed clothes (and they shrunk two sizes), but the one here didn't even have a maternity section at the time. It was totally no problem at all. Even if you don't have a store, maternity (ONLY) returns via mail ship free. It's a great deal. Their sizes are wonky, though. Some of their XXL fit me great, and some I couldn't even get on my body. Stretchy yoga panel pants=awesome.

Hey Adina, that's a cute baby belly!

Mine hasn't really changed enough to post again. I'll probably post after 20/22 weeks, and after Thanksgiving. My belly should be bigger after eating stuffing and turkey.
