2nd Trimester!!

Yeah for the second trimester break!
I didn't start feeling relief with my son until 15/16 weeks.
My ms and exhaustion started ebbing away this time around 11 1/2 weeks.

I still feel sick at night, and I haven't removed my sea-bands. I am just too scared to.
I also overestimate my energy level (certainly not back to my prepreg level)

Life has certainly gotten alittle easier though. I hope it keeps up for the next 3 months.

I'm glad you're feeling better! I may be starting to feel better, but I don't want to say that because last time I did I ended up puking for 24 hours straight.

Glad you're better!

My carsickness is under control with the help of Hyland Motion Sickness remedy and my energy level is getting better. :

Hope everyone feels that 2nd trimester boost real soon!

I had my fingers crossed so hard that i'd cross the 2nd trimester threshold and feel instantly better. I'm not all-day nauseous everyday anymore, but when i do get sick, it's the worst. Power puke, followed by 10 mins of dry heaving, and then throwing up bile. Ew.

So, for the most part it's better, but when it's bad, it's baaaaaaaaad.

OH I am so happy you've made it!!

I was feeling happy to feel better but also worried cause what if I'm feeling better for the wrong reason . . . so I went back and looked at my journal for my DS's pg. This is just about when I started feeling better w/him, too, so that reassured me. Now, if I could just get enough rest to shake this nasty cold . . .

Oh yeah, my first trimester including plenty of bile-puking. Dropped a few lbs due to a diet of lemonade, lime juice, toast, and preggie-pops. (Preggie pops work pretty well, but for real relief I'd need them 24 hrs a day)
I feel energy coming back(at all of 13w3d), but it is probably also because I am adjusting my expectations of what can really be accomplished in a day.

I am also feeling better but i also overestimate my energy level - think I can do way more than I can and by 7:00 PM I am wiped out. Sorry for those who are still feeling sick.

LOL... Most of my energy is back, but last night I went to bed at 8:30 leaving dh to put the kids to bed.

Glad people are starting to feel better.....but I am a bit jealous. I am still in the middle of the 1st trimester sickies...I am counting the days until I feel human again.

I hear you hollysmom! I had a class this morning--my only morning class--and mornings are my worst time if I force myself to get up before I'm ready. It's a small class so everyone notices everything. I'm just glad my prof is a woman and has kids. Even though hers are teens, she remembers and doesn't push me too hard. Every break I was sneaking off to a bathroom on a different floor so I could to throw up in relative privacy!

man it is great to read that everyone else is going through the SAME thing I am!!
I am still tired alot , but definetly the m/s is getting better, but I am still on my Unisom, but I still had it about 50% up till now, and it is getting better. I will have to stay on this the entire pregnancy. But it also cures another ailement , I can sleep at night!!
I still dread waking up in the morning, I am quesy, and very very DRY.
