Immigration med. exam was today....

...and it went surprisingly well. I didn't have any vax records and they asked if I had chicken pox as a kid and when my last Tetanus vax was. The doc was a really nice guy who actually said (in response to my polite decline of the MMR and Tetanus vax) "I'm not here to spy on you for them, I'm here to work with you". Cool. So he suggested doing titres for MMR and if I'm not immune then he mentioned that I would be able to submit a waiver. Cool. He didn't even mention Hep. B.

MT, we are from Canada and have been living in the U.S. for 5 years. We are just applying for a change of status from temp. res. visa to green card.

I'm REALLY glad for you. So many docs wouldn't have been that nice. It's sure nice to run into one that is and hear a happy story. Here's to more happy stories!
