cosleeping on Zoloft?

I've just been put on Zoloft for ppd, and I am a bit worried about cosleeping. The only other drug I've ever taken while cosleeping is coumadin, which is a blood thinner and didn't affect sleep habits at all.

Should I be concerned about cosleeping while on Zoloft?

Thanks.

Well, I'm on it and I co-sleep. I never thought about it being a no-no.

Zoloft is not known to affect sleep, as far as I know. It doesn't make you drowsy or sleep "heavier." I have been on it since dd's birth and we coslept (and still do some nights). If you wonder about it, just ask your prescribing doctor if zoloft will make you sleep more deeply. I have seen nothing to indicate it does and my experience has been that it does not. (Going OFF zoloft cold turkey will make you sleepy, however.)

I've been on Zoloft for quite some time and have not had a problem co-sleeping with my infant or preschooler.
